1976
In December 1976, following a career as a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps and with a successful business background Dave Davis formed DAVCO Manufacturing Company as a design and development company.
1977
Fuel Pro 091 was produced in 1977 and it’s the first generation of DAVCO fuel processors. Sales were immediate to heavy truck fleets seeking solutions to poor fuel quality and cold climate issues, by combing fuel heating to prevent cold weather waxing and achieving efficient water separation.

DAVCO moves into current Saline facility featuring a state-of-art laboratory
1988
Fuel Pro 321 was developed as a natural progression of the Fuel Pro 091 by adding fuel filtration and was very successful. The innovative and unique "upside-down" filter shows the industry that extended filter life, effective water separation, and efficient fuel heating were best incorporated into a single system
1989
DAVCO earns the prestigious Ford Q-1 Preferred Quality Award (Steve Davis – EVP and Mike Centlivre – Quality Manager received the award).
1990s

Diesel Pro 150 is released for smaller engines, utilizing the technology from the Fuel Pro line but sized for smaller engines.
1990
Diesel Pro 210 was developed for smaller truck engines.
1993
Diesel Pro 230 was developed for smaller truck engines. This was one of the first units that feature a clear cover, which introduced the trademarked Seeing is Believing technology.
1998
Fuel Pro 382 was introduced. It resulted from the Fuel Pro 380 and Seeing is Believing success and the DAVCO continuous improvement philosophy. Fleet and OEM input resulted in additional features including a lower profile and an internal thermo-valve controlled fluid heater.
1999
Sea Pro 511 was released to provide fuel filtration to the marine market and featured the clear cover. This introduced DAVCO to off-highway markets.
2000s
2000
DAVCO introduces Diesel Pro 232 with Pro-Chek for refrigeration trailers. The Pro-Chek prevents air related problems in the fuel system, fuel drain-back, and reduces fuel line pulsations.
2001
DAVCO introduces a line of fluid management products: oil level regulator, slow flow meter, continuous oil change module, fluid level switch.
2001
Industrial Pro DI 9100 fuel processor is introduced for industrial applications, further expanding DAVCO's reach into off-highway industrial markets.
2004
Diesel Pro 233 introduced as well as Diesel Pro 234 specifically for use with biodiesel fuel
2004
DAVCO enters strategic agreement with Cummins Filtration, now Atmus, and Fleetguard filters providing industry-leading filtration technology in all of DAVCO’s units.
2006
DAVCO introduces Sea Pro 5, 6, 7, & 8 for marine applications with marine agency certifications
2009
DAVCO introduces Diesel Pro 243 for medium duty engines with optional Water-in-Fuel Sensor (WIF) and electric pre-heater options. The 243 was engineered in collaboration with OEM engineering teams to provide an efficient unit

Shop Pro FXP introduced as an all-in-one shop floor tool for priming diesel engines, cleaning fuel tanks, & transferring fuel with filtration

Shop Pro ST, a mobile Shop Pro solution, was released as an all-in-one shop floor tool engineered for service trucks.

Industrial Pro second generation released with a redesigned housing better suited for tough industrial application requirements.

The next-gen Sea Pro is redesigned to feature a full steel housing to meet ABS certifications.

Shop Pro FXP 95 in introduced for priming DD engines after engine service.

Diesel Pro 245 and Fuel Pro 485, 487, & 488 released with three layer filter technology for superior water separation capabilities

Diesel Pro 499 introduced, increasing diesel fuel filtration capacity by nearly 70% when compared to previous models

Fuel Pro 498 released for Volvo/Mack integrating coolant heat and three-layer filtration enabling better engine operation in cold weather, as well as water separation exceeding engine OEM requirements.
